The Microsoft Network Engineer is a full-time opportunity where candidates are responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of a variety of networking initiatives. Typical responsibilities for this engineer will include Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007/2010 and server/storage virtualization deployments. A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate excellent networking and technical skills, proficiency with the design, implementation and support of Microsoft solutions, and exhibit strong project management and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Implement and recommend network technologies including directory, messaging, database, systems management, server virtualization, network storage and security
Evaluate and architect network, server and storage architecture plans
Create recurring revenue as an engagement manager by providing high quality technical solutions and exemplary customer service (including strong verbal and written communications and follow-up skills)
Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university
3 - 8 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory design, implementation and administration are required
Strong background in networking (Firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, network protocols, VPN…) is required
