SWC Is Going “All-In” to Recognize Employees
If you walk around the offices at SWC, you may notice something new around our team’s work spaces. SWC poker chips are piling up on desks as part of a new, simple initiative to recognize the small things that we do every day.
As an organization, SWC has experienced nearly 15% growth in headcount for the past four consecutive years running. Growing teams require solid communication and support. SWC already has ways to recognize employee contributions, like incentives, Team Member of the Month, and perks like monthly in-office massages and team outings. These are great ways management shows they appreciate their team, but we wanted to take that a step further and let everyone show their appreciation. At SWC, we work in a fast-paced and demanding industry. It’s easy to focus on the problems that we are working to solve at any given time, so we decided to create a program that challenges all employees to recognize the core principles that we collectively value the most.
SWC’s “All-In” chips are a little way for anyone to show immediate appreciation. So on any day, you might get a chip from a co-worker as a small token of appreciation. Maybe you helped proofread their first draft or took some extra time to show them how to use the latest O365 update feature. Or maybe you just helped carry something out to their car – it’s the little things that often go unrecognized that actually play the biggest part in building a culture where employees feel appreciated, valued and motivated to do their best work.
Are you “All-In?”
