“You can spend time with your family and not worry about the office.”
Plenty of companies advertise their commitment to work-life balance, but when it comes down to putting measures into practice, they drop the ball. Not so with SWC, says Rachael Narel, Engagement Manager.
“With SWC you experience it,” Rachael said. “You work hard during the week. It’s a very fast-paced environment and you have a lot of projects going on. You really need to dig in and focus on your work. But at the end of the day and on the weekend you can spend time with your family and not have to worry about what’s going on back in the office.”
SWC knows how important it is to refresh, re-energize and refocus—how important employees’ physical and mental health is to the health and success of the company. That’s why SWC has a Wellness Team that focuses on keeping employees happy and healthy.
“We support a lot of wellness programs here which I find very encouraging,” said Rachael. “We bring in a lot of snacks and we’re starting up a lot more fitness initiatives and company-based team races and sporting events.”
In addition to fresh fruit delivered weekly, frequent group outings and weeklong celebrations for winning awards like Crain’s Best Places to Work, SWC’s benefits package kicks in on day one of employment.
