The Chicago NATO Summit will be held downtown this year from May 20th to 21st. Many customers are wondering how this might affect them or how they can prepare.

The recent NATO discussions I have had with my customers and colleagues revolve around Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning. Below are two articles I was published in related to these topics that I think are helpful.

How to Rank Your Apps and Processes According to the Fire Alarm Scale

At SWC, we have already begun the process of getting our Chicago IT customers ready by encouraging them to check remote system availability for their users and to review Business Continuity and IT Contingency plans before the NATO Summit. Additionally, we have increased staffing at our Network Operations Center in Oak Brook, IL to provide remote support for them and their users.
