SWC Earns 3rd Microsoft Central Region Partner Award in 4 Years

Recognized Out of 6,000+ Partners in the Region for Customer Loyalty & Satisfaction

Oak Brook, IL, February 8, 2012 – SWC Technology Partners, a provider of full-service IT solutions to Chicago area midmarket organizations, announced today that it has won a Microsoft H1 Central Region Partner Award for the third time in four years. As the recipient of the regional 2012 Microsoft Award for Customer Loyalty and Satisfaction, SWC is one of only five of the region’s more than 6,000 partners honored for developing and delivering exceptional Microsoft-based customer solutions in 2011.

The award reflects strong customer endorsements of SWC’s solutions and services, which focus on leveraging various components of the Microsoft technology stack to drive business efficiencies and growth for small and mid-sized companies in the Chicago area and throughout the Midwest. Projects include standalone and integrated SharePoint, business intelligence, unified messaging, desktop and CRM solutions designed to help organizations build better customer relationships, streamline operations and make better business decisions.

Projects that helped SWC earn the award included Microsoft-based solutions developed for:

  • Plymouth Tube Company, a hot mill facility that engaged SWC to upgrade its SharePoint infrastructure and end user SharePoint environment in order to increase business-critical collaboration within and among 10 plants around the country.
  • Chicago Botanic Garden, a 450-user non-profit organization with over 900,000 annual visitors that turned to SWC to consolidate its SQL databases, upgrade its Microsoft Exchange Server installation and maintain their network environment.
  • The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, for which SWC built a custom business intelligence solution that eliminated weeks of analysis to track financials, leasing patterns and accounts receivable across 143 shopping centers and other properties.

SWC also received customer satisfaction awards from Microsoft in FY 2010 and 2011, and was recognized in other Central Region categories in FY 2007 and 2009, and has received seven additional awards from Microsoft since 2007. A full list of SWC awards can be seen here.
