Oak Brook, IL, August 2, 2010 – For the second time in two years, IT consultants SWC Technology Partners has been selected as one of “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For,” an honor that recognizes Chicago area businesses that provide outstanding programs, services and solutions to employees.

SWC and other winners will be honored at the annual “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” awards luncheon August 2, 2010 at the Chicago Marriott Oak Brook. The event and the award are hosted by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR).

Winning companies are judged by an independent research firm in the following categories: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection and work-life balance.

“The selection, recognition and awarding of this year’s 101 companies allows our organization to showcase their best practices. The honorees have clearly demonstrated why each of them would be an ideal place for employees to work. Companies that capitalize on their greatest resource – their employees – know how to attract and retain top talent,” said Jennifer Kluge, president of NABR.

“SWC consistently places great emphasis on its benefits and workplace environment,” said Bob Knott, president of SWC. “Since its founding 30 years ago, SWC has provided a rich variety of training, educational and social programs and events, and as a result we have recruited and retained an incredibly talented and energized workforce that makes SWC an outstanding place to work and an outstanding partner to its customers.”
