A More Strategic Approach to Managed Services Contributes to Increased Revenue and Global Recognition

SWC Technology Partners, an award-winning provider of IT solutions to midmarket organizations announced it had ranked among the top 100 managed services providers in the world on the 2014 MSPmentor 501 Global Edition list.

The MSPmentor’s annual list identifies the world’s top 501 managed service providers (MSPs) based on a range of metrics, including annual managed services revenue growth, revenue per employee, managed services offered and customer devices managed. SWC also ranked in the top 100 of the MSPmentor 200 North America Edition, the MSPmentor’s report that focuses exclusively on providers in North America.

“The fact that we have been recognized by MSPmentor for four years in a row and that we’re 71 out of 200 in North America is an amazing distinction for us,” said Susie Cummings, Vice President of Managed Services at SWC Technology Partners. “These designations affirm that we have the experience, people, process and technology to deliver a very high-value, high-touch service for our customers.”

In addition to the MSPmentor list, SWC has recently appeared on CRN’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) 500 list. The list recognizes North America’s top technology solution providers whose innovative approach to managed services has helped customers improve efficiencies, cut costs and spend more time working on strategic projects that will impact the business.

Over the last eight years, SWC has developed and grown their Managed Services offering from a solution focused on monitoring and management to a unique partnership in which they help clients develop strategic plans and operational roadmaps to ensure success. This is a direct result of the midmarket’s increasing investment in technology and a growing understanding of the strategic value of IT and its impact to the financial performance of today’s business.

“MSPmentor congratulates SWC on this unique honor,” said Amy Katz, president of Nine Lives Media, a Penton business. “Qualifying for our MSPmentor 501 Global Edition puts SWC in rare company.”

MSPs on the 2014 global 501 list lifted their combined annual recurring revenues $2.61 billion, continuing seven straight years of strong growth. Together, those MSPs now manage more than 700,000 servers, according to Jessica Davis, managing editor, MSPmentor.
